Festival Timeline
The Campobello Island Seaglass Festival began as a crazy idea in early 2019. Drawing on experience with Campobello's Fogfest, we knew that it could be something special for the area and a boost to the tourism season in September.
Things quickly took off from there!
2019
First Campobello Island Seaglass Festival
One short weekend for the "soft opening", which ended up being the one and only pre-pandemic version of the festival.
2020
Seaglass September
As the events of 2020 unfolded we switched to a safer and more socially-distanced version of the festival, instead of cancelling.
2021
Sticking with what works
The "Seaglass September" format was actually better for the Island's limited resources (plus the ongoing pandemic) and so became the standard that we are still using today.
2022
So much fun!
The 4th annual festival was a blast, with great weather and a great group of people!
